CCPA Compliance Checker
A free, instant scan of your consent banner, opt-out links, third-party trackers, and GPC handling, with a CCPA/CPRA regulatory citation behind every finding, not a letter grade.
What this scan checks
Consent banner and opt-out links
Checks whether your site posts the required opt-out links (§ 7013, § 7015), discloses notice at collection, and whether your consent banner gives reject the same number of clicks as accept, rather than a dark-pattern flow that favors consent (§ 7004).
Third-party trackers
Intercepts real outbound network requests to marketing and analytics domains before and after consent, the same way a browser does it, and flags trackers that fire before a visitor makes a choice or that never appear in your privacy disclosures (§ 7013).
Global Privacy Control (GPC) handling
Re-visits your site sending a real Global Privacy Control signal and verifies, at the network layer, that the trackers seen in the previous stage actually stop firing, not just that a banner displays an opted-out message (§ 7025).
This free scan runs three of Privisy’s pipeline stages. It does not read your privacy policy, and it does not run every check in Privisy’s catalog, both of which the signed-in audit adds on the same URL.
Frequently asked questions
What does the CCPA Checker check?
It runs three of Privisy's scanning stages against your site: UI compliance (consent banner behavior and required opt-out links), tracker detection (what actually fires on the network, before and after consent), and GPC validation (whether a Global Privacy Control signal actually stops those trackers).
Does a green result mean my site is fully CCPA/CPRA compliant?
No. This scan does not read your privacy policy, so it can't check the disclosures that live there (categories of data collected, retention, your rights process, and more). The signed-in audit adds a privacy-policy analysis stage and every check in Privisy's catalog on top of the three stages this free scan runs.
Do I need to install anything?
No. There's no script, tag, or DNS change. Privisy loads your public pages in a headless browser from the outside, the same way a real visitor would, so you can check a site you don't control.
Will this affect my site or my analytics?
The scan behaves like a small number of ordinary page views and doesn't write to your site. It may register as a handful of sessions in your analytics. It doesn't submit forms, create accounts, or touch anything behind a login.
